Imagine if Siri or Alexa came to life and tried to kill you. That’s pretty much the premise of the new Child’s Play film. This time around, the Chucky doll isn’t possessed by a serial killer but instead, he’s an artificial intelligence gone mad. The film is directed by Lars Klevberg and written by Tyler Burton Smith. It serves as a remake and reboot of the 1988 film of the same title, following a plot similar to the original film. It stars Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, Brian Tyree Henry, and Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky.
