It’s the end of an era for the Marvel/Netflix partnership. Jessica Jones is the last remaining Marvel series with any new episodes left on the streaming service. But don’t think the booze drinking, wise cracking private eye is going to go away quietly in the show’s final season.
In Jessica Jones season 3, Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with Gregory Salinger (Jeremy Bobb), known in the comics for being the second psychopath to assume the identity of “Foolkiller.” Traditionally, Foolkiller’s mission has been relatively straightforward: kill fools. With a brilliant mind, thirst for blood, and knack for poetry, he’s sparred with Spider-Man to the Defenders.
Jones’ friend Trish, who developed her own superhuman traits towards the end of last season, will be trying to come into her own as the city’s newest superhero, Hellcat. Much to the dismay of Jones. The two will have to try and repair their shattered friendship while facing off against the sadistic Salinger in the final season of Jessica Jones premiering June 14th on Netflix.
