First Look: Frank Miller’s Superman Year One

DC’s Black Label, DC Comics’ more adult oriented line, made waves with its Batman: Damned when it premiered a few months back. Now the line looks to make headlines once more with prolific comic book writer, Frank Miller and legendary artist John Romita Jr.

The two icons will be putting their own spin on the Man of Steel with Superman: Year One. Check out some of the covers below:

Superman: Year One will be released initially as three large-format issues in June, August and October, with a collected edition scheduled for November.

The series is described by DC as “more than a superhero story — it’s about the choices made by Clark Kent on his path to becoming a legend. It’s a testament to the importance of choosing to become a hero.”
