Torrie Wilson started out in WCW but then grew into one of the biggest female wrestlers when she made the jump to WWE. She was a multi-time Playboy Centerfold and still regarded as one of the hottest women ever to compete in the squared circle.
But then a neck injury sidelined Wilson and she never returned to the ring. Not even for a final match or farewell to the fans. Now that will change.
Wilson is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before this year’s Wrestlemania Pay-Per-View.
“This feels like a sweet closure,” Wilson, 43, told espnW. “Since I retired, so many people have asked me, ‘Do you feel bad you’ve never won a title?’ And I have always said no, because I felt like I got the value — even though it would have been nice [to win a title]. But being inducted into the Hall of Fame feels like a championship belt to me, because it really makes me feel appreciated.”
