Spiteful Leslie Jones Slams Upcoming Ghostbusters 3

Leslie Jones apparently still under the impression the Paul Feig all female Ghostbusters movie was a good movie. So much so, she has gone on a social media to make some childish remarks about her displeasure with the news of a new Ghostbusters reboot.

Jones actually tweeted this statement out multiple times after hearing the 2020 reboot would be a direct sequel to Ghostbusters 2 and ignore the Feig Ghostbusters reboot.

The 2020 sequel is rumoured to feature a 13-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl as two of its main characters.

Jones says her comments are aimed at “whoever was making” the new film, adding that the response she received to her initial tweet was disappointing.

“It’s very sad that this is [the] response I get,” she tweeted. “When the point is if they make this new one with all men and it does well which it will. It might feel that ‘boys are better’. [I]t makes my heart drop. Maybe I could have [used] different words but I’m allowed to have my feelings just like them.”

Maybe if the 2016 Ghostbusters movie wasn’t hot garbage there wouldn’t be a need to reboot the franchise, again. But Jones just represents this new generation of entitled people who feel like they should be rewarded for putting out a substandard product.

  1. She’s missing the point. It wasn’t the female cast that made Ghostbusters suck. I actually thought the beginning few scenes with Kristen Wig/Melissa McCarthy were pretty funny. But the plot dropped off after that and it became a lame shoot-em-up style of film.
