Avengers 4 and Godzilla: King of the Monsters were both expected to drop highly anticipated trailers this week. Sadly, they both might be pushed back to a later time.
Avengers 4 was originally set to premiere on Good Morning America with a title reveal and a trailer. However, due to the passing of former president George Bush Sr., that trailer will either get pushed to another date or best case scenario go straight to the Internet.
As for Godzilla: King of the Monsters that trailer has a weirder story. The trailer had been rumored to debut at the 2018 Tokyo Comic-Con. During the panel for the film fans just got a short one on one interview with the director Michael Dougherty and a teaser for the trailer. Dougherty said the trailer would drop sometime this week. No official date was given. A rumor has circulated out of Warner Bros. that they are ducking the Marvel onslaught of trailers (Captain Marvel on Monday night and Avengers 4 allegedly on Wednesday.)
Just goes to prove what I’ve said since the early days of my website, Warner Bros. needs to fire their marketing team. A team of monkeys can literally do a better job than almost anyone at Warner Bros. They lack faith in any of their films that isn’t involving a British dude with a magical wand.
I guess we will see later this week if either trailer drops this week.
