The soundtrack is like a lost zombie episode of Glee mixed with Shaun of the Dead. At least two tracks should be added to everyone’s Christmas playlist this year. The bombastic “What A Time To Be Alive” and “Christmas Means Nothing Without You.”

Anna and the Apocalypse is a 2017 Scottish Christmas zombie musical film directed by John McPhail and written by Alan McDonald and Ryan McHenry. The film is based on the 2010 BAFTA-winning short Zombie Musical.The film premiered at Fantastic Fest on September 22, 2017. Orion Pictures is scheduled to release the film in the US in limited theaters November 30, 2018 and expand nationwide December 7, 2018. 

A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other…
