Check Out The Trailer For Netflix’s Medieval Zombie Series “The Kingdom”

The deceased king is resurrected and a new evil awakens in the Kingdom. The mystery begins on January 25, 2019, only on Netflix.

The Undead threaten medieval Korea in this new series that Netflix has already picked up for a second season! The series is set just after the death of a king in Korea’s Joseon period, which lasted from about 1400 to 1900. Shortly after his death a mysterious plague causes the king and a horde of others to rise from their grave bringing a wave of undead-terror to the country. The series will follow the crown prince as he attempts to survive the sudden outbreak. Beyond that, the teaser keeps things pretty vague, sticking to its tense, zombie-filled atmosphere instead.

Kingdom is directed by Kim Seong-hun, who was awarded the Korean Grand Bell Award for best director in 2014 for his film A Hard Day.
