Paramount sets release date for A Quiet Place Sequel/Top Gun: Maverick pushed back?

A Quiet Place arrived in cinemas a few months back and surprised audiences with its thrilling and suspenseful story. The John Krasinski directed horror film earned a sequel order only a few weeks after its release. The sequel doesn’t have a title and not much is known about the story but it does have a release date.

A Quiet Place sequel is scheduled for a wide release on May 15, 2020.

In a surprising move, Paramount has moved the Tom Cruise Top Gun: Maverick from July 2019 to June 26th, 2020. No reason was stated as to why the Top Gun got pushed back. Paramount has also moved up director Tim Miller’s Terminator film to November 15th, 2019. The live action Sonic The Hedgehog film also moved up its release to November 8th, 2019.
