We finally know who the live-action Doom Patrol will be fighting when their series premieres on the DC Universe streaming service.
Eric Morden, aka Mr. Nobody.
According to That Hashtag Show, the studio has put out a call for a big-name actor in the age range of 30-50 to play the role of Mr. Nobody, who “will be seeking vengeance on the person he holds responsible for the failed experiment that caused his condition which, in addition to his insanity, has left him stuck between two dimensions.”
Created by Arnold Drake and Bruno Premiani, Mr. Nobody made his DC Comics debut in the pages of Doom Patrol #86 in 1964. He’s essentially a living shadow with a heart-shaped hole in his chest, and he possesses the ability to drain the sanity from other beings.
Spinning out of the DC Universe streaming service’s flagship series Titans is Doom Patrol, which will feature a team of super-powered misfits whose strange abilities caused them to become social outcasts.
Both Titans and Doom Patrol will be exclusive to the DC Universe streaming service.
