Wrestling World Suffers 2 Losses Volkoff, Christopher Pass Away

The wrestling world is reeling tonight as two of their own sadly passed away this weekend.

The iconic WWE Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff passed away at the age of 70. Volkoff had been hospitalized and released days prior for treatment of dehydration and other issues.

In a tweet his former tag team partner, The Iron Sheik said this:

MY BEST FRIEND. MY PARTNER. MY BROTHER. WE GET MORE HEAT THAN ANYONE ON EARTH. I TRUST HIM WITH MY LIFE. HE TAKE CARE OF ME WHEN I WAS DOWN. I MISS YOU FOREVER 💔

The other wrestler to pass away this weekend was Brian Christopher.

Former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Brian Christopher (real name Brian Lawler), died Sunday after hanging himself and committing suicide in a Memphis, Tennessee, jail, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer. Christopher, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, was 46 years old.

Our thoughts and prayers are with both families of both wrestlers tonight.
