Fight The Good Fight – The Interrupters

Some albums are so good it’s hard to pick your favorite tracks. So is The Interrupters‘ newest album, Fight The Good Fight. The Cali Ska-Punk band makes you want to dance with a Corona in one hand and your other balled up into fist waving in the air! Standout tracks include Title Holder, She’s Kerosene, Got Each Other, Rumors & Gossip. A great album for the Summer.

Uniform Distortion – Jim James

The lead singer of My Morning Jacket has branched out into the indie rock scene with a bluesy rock sound accompanied by fuzzy guitar riffs and introspective lyrics. Stand out tracks include Just A Fool, Throwback, Better Late Than Never.

I’m All Ears – Let’s Eat Grandma

Not too many bands come with their name via a popular internet grammar meme, or maybe they do. Nonetheless, Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollinworth have created a band that has an otherworldly Sound that is like a dark, 80s, acid trip. Standout tracks on this album include Whitewater, It’s Not Just Me, Snakes & Ladders.

High As Hope – Florence + The Machine

Lead singer Florence Welch lets her vulnerabilities show in the band’s 4th album. The album lyrics are like a confession of dealings within the singer’s life. Standout tracks include Hunger, South London Forever, Sky Full Of Song.

Westworld Season 2 Soundtrack

HBO’s Westworld series composer Ramin Djawadi is back covering songs of yesterday with a dark cinematic tone. Covers of Kanye West, Nirvana, The White Stripes, Rolling Stones, and even Wu-Tang populate this amazing soundtrack.
