Marvel Studios wants Captain Marvel to be the new face of its Cinematic Universe

Marvel Studios is banking on Captain Marvel to not only be their version of Wonder Woman but also to be the next face of their shared universe.

The post-Robert Downey Jr era of Marvel Studios is upon us. A new hero must now rise and try to fill his very big shoes.

According to comicbook.com, Feige gave away a few details about the next installment of the Avengers story arc and apologized for having fewer heroes to advertise following the events of Infinity War.

He also said that the MCU’s remaining characters would need to have each others’ backs if they hoped to save the universe from Thanos in the next movie.

Leading the charge will be space faring superheroine Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson. Captain Marvel’s arrival will have a big impact on Marvel Studio’s Phase 4.

Captain Marvel is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel.
