E3 is here and HipsterZOMBIEJoint has some of the best trailers for highly anticipated games due to hit consoles in 2019! These are our picks for some of the most impressive titles that debuted this weekend.

Just Cause 4

Just Cause is an action-adventure video game series created by Avalanche Studios. The series consists of three games, Just CauseJust Cause 2 and Just Cause 3. The games are open world and take place in tropical environments. The series draws its name from the real-life United States invasion of Panama, code-named “Operation Just Cause”.

Fallout 76

Fallout 76 was announced on May 30, 2018. The announcement was preceded by a 24-hour Twitch live stream that showed a Vault Boy bobblehead toy in front of a monitor with the “Please Stand By” test pattern screen that teased the announcement. This stream was watched by a total of over two million people and over 100,000 people watching at almost any time. The stream concluded with a brief message from Bethesda’s Todd Howard, prior to a teaser trailer set to the song “Take Me Home, Country Roads“. The trailer features scenes of Vault 76 (a location regarded in Fallout 3 as being a “control” vault in the Washington, D.C. area, that was not subjected to experimentation), which is decorated to celebrate an event referred to as “Reclamation Day”; a Pip-Boy device listing the current date as October 27, 2102 (just over 25 years after the Great War); an unknown dweller of Vault 76, and a broadcast containing the statement: “When the fighting has stopped and the fallout has settled, you must rebuild.”

Cyberpunk 2077

In 2077, the world has reached technological singularity and people are divided into social classes. The United States of America has fallen to Balkanisation and bankruptcy after succumbing to warfare, kinetic bombardment, famine, and rebellion. Mega-corporations have seized control, building enclaves within which only their employees are allowed to live. Outside of these territories are old cities where gangs and governments contend for dominance, and the “Heartland” is wracked by severe dust storms, weathered by nomads. In outer space, a group called the Orbitals – governed by the Eurozone countries – wield mass drivers as a method of deterrence in the event that their economic sovereignty is challenged.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Like its predecessor, the game is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. There are numerous adjustments made to gameplay, which is otherwise identical to Rise. The controls for swimming have been completely revised, as Lara is now able to hold her breath underwater for a longer period of time due to the introduction of air pockets. She also gains the ability to rappel down a cliff using a rope. Stealth becomes an important part of the game, with Lara being able to disengage from combat when she escapes from enemies’ line of sight. Like its predecessors, the game allows players to hunt wild animals, craft materials using the resources collected, solve puzzles and explore optional tombs.

Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 once again drops players into a world overrun with the undead. The sequel promises to expand on the horror survival predecessor.

Kingdom Hearts 3

Kingdom Hearts IIIis an upcoming action role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the twelfth installment in the Kingdom Hearts series, a sequel to Kingdom Hearts II, and the final chapter in the Dark Seeker saga. Set after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, returning protagonist Sora is joined by Donald DuckGoofyKing Mickey and Riku in their search for the seven Guardians of Light and the “Key to Return Hearts” as they attempt to thwart Master Xehanort‘s plan to bring about a second Keyblade War.
