It looks like Daredevil’s most formidable foe from the comics, Bullseye, has been cast!
Actor Wilson Bethel has been cast as Bullseye in Netflix and Marvel’s upcoming Daredevil season 3, according to That Hashtag Show.
That Hashtag Show cites no sources in their claim that Bethel, previously reportedly cast as “Steve,” a villainous FBI agent who was at the time speculated to be the Sin-Eater.
Although not confirmed, this would be a welcome addition to season 3 of Netflix’s most popular Marvel series.
Created by Marv Wolfman and John Romita Sr., Bullseye first appeared in Daredevil #131. Bullseye is a psychopathic assassin who uses the opportunities afforded by his line of work to exercise his homicidal tendencies and to work out his own personal vendetta against Daredevil.
Although he possesses no superpowers, Bullseye is able to use almost any object as a lethal projectile, be it weapons like shuriken and sai or seemingly harmless objects like playing cards and pencils. His marksmanship is uncanny, at a nearly supernatural level, but he has been known to miss moving targets.
Daredevil season 3 is currently in production.
