HipZOMJoint Movie Review: Suicide Squad Hell To Pay

Warner Bros Animation’s new Suicide Squad Film, Hell To Pay, is a bloody good time.

When Doctor Fate literal get out of hell card is lost and up for grabs Amanda Waller assembles Task Force X to retrieve it. Unbeknownst to her Reverse Flash and his group are after the card as well.

But When Vandal Savage also shows interest it turns into a 3 way free for all that will have teammates backstabbing each other and leaving a bloody body count behind.

The voice cast led by Vanessa Williams as Amanda Waller, Christian Slater as Deadshot, and Tara Strong as Harley Quinn is good enough but don’t do much to wow you with their performances.

The action though is straight up rated R level gunplay. The way the film plays fast and loose with dispatching some pretty prominent DC characters is shocking. Although for the grindhouse-esque flavor they are going for, it surprisingly works.

I’m still not a big fan of DC Animation’s new animators but the new 52-verse films are slowly getting better with each entry.

HipZOMJoint gives Suicide Squad Hell To Pay a strong 6.7 out of 10, worth checking out.
