Lynda Carter To Get Her Star On The Walk Of Fame

Beauty icon. Television star. Wonder Woman. Lynda Carter is finally getting her star on the walk of fame in Hollywood.

She’s a female icon the world over and has been deserving of this honor for sometime now.

Per KTARNews:

Carter’s big break came when she became television’s first Wonder Woman, appearing in 60 episodes in the original show from 1975-79.

She has appeared in 43 different titles throughout her career, stemming from television shows to movies and even some video games.

Aside from her time as Wonder Woman, some of her most notable features came in the original “Starsky and Hutch” in 1976, “Partners in Crime” in 1984, “Hawkeye” from 1994-95, “Super Troopers” in 2001, and the “Dukes of Hazzard” in 2005.

Carter has also made guest appearances on popular television shows such as “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” as well as “Two and a Half Men” and “Supergirl.”

Her most recent acting gig came this year in “Super Troopers 2,” as the filming for the sequel to the 2001 comedy was just completed. The movie is set to be released later this year.

Carter has been nominated for seven awards in her 43-year acting career, winning the TV Land Award for Superest Super Hero in 1975, the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016 and the Television Pioneer Award in 2017.

Her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will be revealed on April 3.
