Cha-Cha-Cha-Changes appears to keep happening at Warner Bros with its DC film division.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed Warner Bros. executive Chantal Nong has been named Vice President of production at DC Films.
Nong, whose previous franchise credits include Godzilla and 300: Rise of an Empire will assist in the development and production management of DC Films’ current slate of projects which include James Wan’s upcoming Aquaman film as well as Shazam! which is currently in production in Toronto.
The move comes almost two months after Warner Bros. promoted Walter Hamada to oversee the DC Films division at the studio. Hamada who is now, working closely with DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns, took over for Jon Berg who stepped down to become a production partner with IT producer Roy Lee.
In addition, casting for the highly anticipated Wonder Woman sequel is about to get underway and will be next in line to film while Flashpoint and Joss Whedon’s Batgirl film are likely to be in tow. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the duo behind Vacation and Warner Bros. upcoming comedy Game Night who also worked on the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming were recently revealed to be in talks to helm the long-in-development standalone Flash film.
